How do I get settlement PDFs into SettleHaul?

If you use Gmail, Connect Gmail auto-pulls settlement emails and PDFs for listed test users — you confirm what to import. If you use any other email, or Google does not let you connect yet, upload the PDF or a screenshot on Import PDFs. Works with any carrier. Amounts come from the statement only. See Is Connect Gmail safe?

Any other email: upload the PDF or screenshot (phone or computer)

1. Open the settlement email in Gmail, Outlook, or whatever inbox you use.
2. Save the PDF, or take a screenshot of the statement (example statement-2026-01-03.pdf).
3. Sign in at settlehaul.com → Import PDFs.
4. Upload the PDF or screenshot. Camera-roll names like IMG_1234 need the original filename or the week date. Tap Read statements, check printed GROSS / NET, then Save to books.
5. Open that week and type loaded / deadhead / bobtail / other miles. Miles are never invented.

Gmail: Connect Gmail to auto-pull

1. Open Settings and tap Connect Gmail.
2. Authorize read-only access so SettleHaul can auto-pull settlement PDFs from your inbox. We do not send mail.
3. Tap Scan inbox. Set Import from date for a backfill (default: last sync, or January 1 of this year). Use Select all / Deselect all, check the PDFs you want, then Import selected PDFs. You confirm each import. Already-saved weeks are skipped.

Connect Gmail works for Gmail addresses on the enabled list. If Google does not let you connect yet, upload the PDF or a screenshot on Import PDFs. If the PDF is a scan, paste the text on the import page. SettleHaul never invents settlement dollars.

Do I have to connect Gmail?

No. If you use Outlook, Yahoo, or any other inbox — or you do not want to connect Gmail — upload the settlement PDF or a screenshot on Import PDFs. Same books result, any email and any carrier. Connect Gmail is only for auto-pulling settlement PDFs from a Gmail inbox. You still confirm each import.

Is Connect Gmail safe? Why does Google say unverified app?

Yes — Connect Gmail is safe to use. Access is read-only. SettleHaul does not send or delete email. Settlement amounts still come only from the PDF and are never invented. Tokens are stored encrypted on SettleHaul's servers.

While Google has SettleHaul in Testing, only listed test users can Connect Gmail. New signups with @gmail.com or @googlemail.com are added as test users (Google's cap is 100). Connect Gmail is not yet open to every Google account.

Test users may see Google's "unverified app" warning. That is normal in Testing. Continue via Advanced → Go to SettleHaul (wording may vary slightly). Anyone else — or anyone who does not want to connect — should use Import PDFs. Same books result. Email support: settlehaul@gmail.com.

How do trial and pricing work?

Owner-Operator is $19/month for one owner-operator company. Public offer: 14-day free trial · once per email · then $19/mo. The 14-day trial is once per email — deleting the account and signing up again does not start a new trial. After the trial, expired accounts can still view reports but cannot import or add rows until Subscribe is active on Billing. Checkout collects a card so the plan converts to $19/month when the trial ends.

How do I set my own categories?

Set your own categories in Settings. Open Categories to add, rename, archive, or reorder. New companies start with Fuel, Tolls, Insurance, Maintenance, and Other. After Read statements, pick a category for each printed charge before Save to books. Later imports remember the same line labels. Amounts are never invented.

How do I log fuel?

Open Fuel after the pump. Snap the receipt — printed gallons and the total prefill when they can be read. Type anything the camera missed. Nothing is invented.

How do I add SettleHaul to my Home Screen?

You do not need the App Store or Play Store. Add settlehaul.com to your phone Home Screen and open it like an app. Works best after you sign in once in the browser. Billing stays on the website.

iPhone (Safari)

1. Open settlehaul.com in Safari (not Chrome-in-app if it blocks Share).
2. Tap the Share button.
3. Tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Tap Add. Open the SettleHaul icon like an app.

Android (Chrome)

1. Open settlehaul.com in Chrome.
2. Tap the ⋮ menu.
3. Tap Add to Home screen / Install app (wording varies).
4. Confirm. Open the icon from the home screen.

What can Help Desk do?
