Privacy Policy

SettleHaul is a US web app for owner-operators. This page describes what we collect to run your books. We do not sell your settlement data. We never invent settlement amounts.

What we collect

  • Account name, email, hashed password, and when you agreed to the Terms.
  • Books you enter or import: settlements, deduction lines, trip miles you type, expenses, fuel fill-ups, and receipt photos you upload.
  • A session cookie so you stay signed in on this browser.
  • If you Connect Gmail: your Gmail address and encrypted OAuth tokens so we can list and download settlement PDFs you confirm. Access is read-only. We do not send or delete email.
  • If you subscribe: a Stripe customer and subscription id. Card numbers stay with Stripe, not as raw card data in SettleHaul.
  • Optional support messages you send to settlehaul@gmail.com.

How we use it

We use this information to provide your company books, import PDFs you upload or confirm from Gmail, calculate reports from stored rows, run Fuel receipt reading when you ask, send password-reset mail when that is configured, and process subscription payments. Gmail data is used only to find and import settlement PDFs into your books. We do not use your settlements to invent profit figures for marketing.

Who can see it

Your books are isolated per company. Operators who run the service (hosting, database, and payment processors) see only what they need to keep the app running. We do not sell personal information or settlement PDFs.

How long we keep it

Account and book records stay until you delete the account in Settings or we close it at your request. Session cookies last until you sign out or they expire. You can disconnect Gmail in Settings at any time.

Your choices

You can update your password in Settings, export reports from the app, disconnect Gmail, and delete your account in Settings. You can also email support: settlehaul@gmail.com to ask questions about your data or to request deletion if you cannot sign in.

Children

SettleHaul is for adult owner-operators and their bookkeepers. It is not directed at children.
